SHANGHAI, 12 December 2025 — The Right Honourable Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg, the Premier of Sarawak, concluded his working visit to China today.
The Premier arrived in Shanghai this evening ahead of his return flight to Sarawak scheduled tomorrow.
He was received by the Malaysian Consulate General, Mohd Shahafeez bin Shaharis, Consul General; Aaron Gan Chai Heng, Tourism Consul; and Mohd Sawaddee Islamuddin, Investment Consul of MIDA.
Tonight, a dinner is being hosted to welcome the Premier and his delegation, bringing together all officials and representatives involved in the China mission.
The Premier’s visit, which included engagements in Nanjing and Suzhou, focused on strengthening industrial, economic, and technological collaborations between Sarawak and China.
