The programme seeks to enhance the export readiness of local enterprises by providing access to international retail platforms, business matching opportunities, capability development and potential long-term market partnerships through the Global Halal Alliance ecosystem and its international partners.
Among the products identified for export promotion are premium Sarawak coffee, pepper, Bario rice, pineapple, dragon fruit, Empurau, dabai-based products, kek lapis, laksa paste, instant food, beverages and other value-added halal products.
The initiative supports the Sarawak Government's aspiration to strengthen the state's export ecosystem while enabling more Sarawak-made products to penetrate regional and international markets.
