CM Visits Rainforest World Music Festival (RWMF)
KUCHING, 14 July 2019 : The Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi (Dr) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg yesterday evening took time off to join music revellers at the Rainforest World Music Festival (RWMF) 2019 at Sarawak Cultural Village (SCV).
The Chief Minister was later taken on a tour of the Cultural Village facilities accompanied by the Minister of Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth and Sports, Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah and other guests.
When met by the media after the visit, the Chief Minister said that SCV had made some improvement to its facilities while retaining its origin design.
"This facilities here will meet certain safety measures for the people who want to visit SCV. It is very accommodative to our tourists; I have a feeling that the number of tourists will increase," he said.
The organisers said compared to last year, the number of tourists visiting SCV during this year's RWMF had increased.
